Abstract: Since the number of sensors at engine test beds is increasing, monitoring measurement data manually becomes impossible and an automated method for detecting errors in the data is necessary. One way to solve this is to establish regression models based on reference data and apply them to a new data set: predicted values are compared with observed values in a certain manner. The crucial task of this regression approach is to find appropriate methods for forecasting without using knowledge of physics and for different kind of data.
